I had the pleasure of doing Kevin Bacon for his premier for the new amazon series "I Love Dick" As a groomer it is so important to know the balance between perfecting your clients skin and keeping the realness at the front of the look. I absolutely love using CONTEXT Oil-free Daily moisturizer because it gives the skin hydration and no shine. This is a must have lotion for oily girls and men alike. Then I prepped the eye with CONTEXT Vit C eye cream because it plumps the skin and prepares the eye for light makeup.
One product I have been loving for the summer time is the Benefit Hula allover body bronzer. This product makes it super fast and easy to get a sun kissed, natural glow without the sun. If you want to look a little more bronzed or even out your tan, this product is perfect. I’ve tried different tanning products and I like this one because it isn’t permanent and washes right off in the shower. It gives you a very nice, natural looking color as opposed to an orange based color like some tanning products. It has a built in applicator which makes it easy to apply and the product is buildable. Put product directly onto the applicator and spread it evenly in circular motions around the area you’re applying it. Sometimes it can look a little streaky, but I’ve found that using a patting motion helps to blend it out seamlessly. Give it a good amount of time to dry before putting clothes on to prevent the product from transferring, but every time I have used it I haven't had a problem. Oh, and it smells great which is a major plus in my book. Definitely recommend this product for anyone who wants a quick all over bronzed look for the summer!
The highly requested dupes video is here. I will show you some affordable options for some of my favorite high end makeup brands. I do a full face try on so you can see the difference in product quality. What other products do you want to see dupes for??

If there's one thing I love, it's a good beauty steal. Sometimes it can be hard to find good quality products that aren't super pricy. My beauty blender is one of my favorite tools to use when applying face makeup, but i've always thought 20 bucks was a little pricy for this little sponge. Nonetheless, I've never complained about it because they're amazing. But, recently I found a sponge that's the same quality, but only $6! The Real Techniques complexion sponge. I was in Ulta and came across it and what intrigued me was the shape of it. It's similar to the beauty blender, but one of the sides is slanted and flat instead of round. Thought I'd give it a try and I haven't stopped using it since! I like the flat side of the sponge because it makes it easy to get right under the eyes when blending out concealer or setting the under eyes with a powder. Don't get me wrong, I still love my beauty blender and use it often, but if you're looking for an alternative for a fraction of the cost, the real techniques sponge is just as great!
I just love working with this beauty. It has been a love affair for the last several years and I still get butterflies. I recently uploaded a tutorial which you can find here on how to achieve her look, but wanted to do a product breakdown so you can see what the thought was behind the look. Pixi by Petra was sweet enough to sponsor me at the event so all products below are by them and you can run to your nearest drugstore and get to creating this look today for YOURSELF!!!
Skintreats- in order of use
Glow peel pads
Hydrating milky mist
Rose oil blend
Started with skintint in #2
All over for a little more coverage vitamin veil in medium
Correction concentrate in brightening peach just a little under the eye
Illuminating tint in bare glow in s triangle under the eye and top of cheek bones
Set everything with pressed powder in Cream
For her contour I blended the darkest shade and matte taupe color in the minimal makeup palette
Then sweep my brush over the top line of blushes in the touch of blush palette to create a custom color for her
Her highlight we wanted to be subtle so I sweep my brush again over all of the top tree colors in the glow getters palette.
Eyes: I rimmed the whole eye in actually a brow pencil because I have wanted to to me matte and a good place to build from. I used endless Brow pen in light and diffused it with a pencil brush from lash line to crease and out to the sides of the eye. Then I built the coppery color in the copper peach palette around the lash line working my way up the the cease the. Defined the lash line with the darkest color in that palette to build intensity. Popped a little if the lightest color in the palette on her brow bone. Defined her lashes with with the black primer and mascara.
I lined just the center of the lip is bare buff and then tapped on coral red with my finger for a more lived in lip look
Final touch is the glow mist. This really brought everything together. Gave her skin the perfect glow that was red carpet ready but also made her skin look like skin
You guys I am just so excited that this has finally come out!! It turned out so beautiful and I hope you all enjoy it.
If you watch my channel you will know that I have struggles with my brows and the length and quality of my lashes for so long. I have just come to except that they were just they way they are, BUT I have found a solution. (Well at least for the lashes...brows are a work in progress)
While I was sitting in the brow chair about two months ago my brow girl suggested I try RevitaBrow. She said you can use it on your lash line too, so I said why not. This was not the easiest price tag to swallow, at $120. She said that it would last me three to four months so I thought it was worth it. I began using it and the first month my brows and lashes didn't change. Then the second month my brows where really starting to grow in, but my lashes. Hooray!!!! Finally I could see some length coming in. I just couldn't wait to share with you guys my results. I am going to wait until I am out of product to show you the shinning moment. Lastly, you don't need to worry about this product making your eye color change or darkening your lash line, it won't happen with this. It was created for people going through chemotherapy so they made it safe.
I did however want to share my recipe for longer and thicker lashes at the stage in am in. These three little things will really get you the volume you are looking for.
First apply the RevitaBrow at night before be, CONSISTENTLY! - This is key
Then a lash curler is every girls best friend even if you just want to put clear mascara on after. Check out my video on how to curl your lashes
Finally my all time favorite mascara SuperHero by IT Cosmetics. It is blacker then black and really defines and give volume to the lashes. There you have it, the only three products to give me the lashes I have always wanted.
I will report back on the brows ;)
I just love working with this beauty!! Lindsey Morgan attended the Saturn Awards this week and I got some requests for the makeup we used. Here is a breakdown of what we used.
I want to hear from you guys!! What other looks do you want me to create on my youtube channel???
Click on the products to check them out:
Foundation: Orlane Foundation
Highlighting: MAC prep + prime Highlighter LIGHT BOOST
Eyes: We kept her eyes really simple. We wanted it to be all about the outfit and the makeup just complimented the look. I swept Jouer Cream Shadow in Moonlight all over the top and bottom lid. Then I took a matte caramel color eyeshadow and blended in the edges on top and bottom. I rimmed the eyes with Charlotte Tilbury Rock N' Khol liner in deep brown. A couple of individual false lashes, several coats of Tom Ford Mascara
Lip liner: Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil I filled in the whole lip and then just a touch of any nude gloss in the middle
Hey guys! So I got a request on the products we used for this look. Here is a breakdown of what I used
Click the name of the product to check them out!!
Foundation: Armani Illuminating foundation
Brows: Tarte Brow pencil
Eyes: Now this is a combination of a ton of shadows, but if you are trying to do this yourself start out with Painterly pain pot by MAC all over the lid. I put Moonlight cream shadow by Jouer in the corner of the eye. Sweep the pink shade in Dior's Pallate 566 Versailles all over the lid minus the corner. Define the crease first with the matte taupe color in TARTE's Showstopper Clay Palette then define it again with the shimmery eggplant color in the same palette. Bring those two colors down along the lower lash line. Rim the water line on top and bottom. Several coats of mascara and you are done!!
Cheeks: I contoured with her foundation in a darker color and Becca Cosmetics pressed highlighter in Pearl on the tops of her cheeks.
Please share if you like this breakdown!

It has been amazing the response from everyone about Holland's look from last night so I thought I would let you in on what we used!!
We started with one of her favorite skin illuminizers by Becca Cosmetics in white pearl to give the skin some glow and light. Then we contoured her face first with TEMPTU airpods in 3, then the whole face in the same product in #1 & #2. I wanted her cheeks to have some youthful color so we used TEMPTU airpod in Nude Pink from the apples to the hair line and Pale Pink just on the apples. Finished off the high points of the with 411 highlighter.
For the eyes I was inspired by the amazing Twiggy. I wanted to keep them still natural but have some definition and modern qualities. I used a matte black shadow to define the crease and then when back in with Jouer cream shadow in Galaxy to give it some depth. Then I liner her lids with Dior's Diorshow Pro Liner in black. This liner I am obsessed with, it is FLAT!! The easiest to put on for even the most liner challenged! Several coats of mascara and the eyes are done.
For the lips we wanted them to be muted but still compliment the rest of the look so we used TEMPTU lipstick in Blushed Nude
Please share and like this post and remember to comment so I can do your idea for my new post!!
Calling all Holland fans that have been asking me to know what we used for this look, this one is for you!
We started with Jouer Tinted moisturizer to give that Holland glow! For her eyes I swept Tom Fords Shade & Illuminate Intensity 1 over her eyes. I used this on the top and bottom of the lid for the lived in look. To intensify the lash lines I smudged Tom For Beauty Eye Defining pencil. I wanted there to be more focus around the lash lines to bring more attention to the eye. Finished off with a couple coats of Tom Ford mascara. I brightened up her inner eye and a little under with Charlotte Tilbury The Retoucher Concealer in Fair 2. This is a must have to really make the eyes pop!!
For the cheeks I genitally contoured with Chanel's cream blush in Destiny and then for a pop of color I used Charlottle Tilbury Beach Stick in Las Salinas. This is one of my new obsessions!!
I defined her lip with Charlotte Tilbury lip pencil in Pillow Talk. Finished the look with Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo
Hope you guys enjoyed this look, many more to come!! Can't wait for you guys to see her look this weekend at the MTV movie awards :)
Now a days with instagram and other social media there is a trend of exaggerated brows. Now those might be good for the few, they don't really work for girls that want to look more natural. The trend is moving to a more framed looked instead of the brows being such a strong feature. When you fill your brows in they are the perfect frame for your face and can really add a more youthful appearance. Today I am going to share with you my favorite products I use for myself and clients and a few tips to get you on your way!
These are some of my favorite products I use. Now there are different brands of course that will work just as well, but these are my tried and true. 1. Anastasia of Beverly Hills brow gel, 2. brow wiz and 3. brow powder 4. Tweezerman dual sided pencil for highlighting
Step one: If you have time get your brows cleaned up by a professional so the shape is perfect for your face. They are a lot easier to fill in if they are in this condition.
Step two: Brush your brows down so you can see the natural line of your brow. Start with either the pencil or powder at the arch. Use small, gentle strokes to fill in the brow down to the tail. Most of the intensity in color should be in this area because we want the definition to be the greatest on the arch and tail.
Tip: I use a pencil on brows that are more fine and need more definition. If you already have full brows and are looking for just a little bit of structure use powder in two colors so you can get the most natural finish
Step three: After you have filled in the arch and tail move to the top of the brow, closest to the nose, with the hairs still brushed down. Here you will want to use even a lighter hand. Using the same small strokes work your way along the top of the brow to meet the arch.
Step four: brush the brows in the normal direction so you can see where you are at. Then follow the bottom of the brow from nose to tail to complete the structure. Continue to brush the brows through so the powder or pencil blend with the hair. If you see you need a little more filled in, in spares areas then now is the time to do it.
Step five: Use a highlighter under and over the top of the arch to get that finished look. Blend with your finger. Using your finger here will help the product melt into the skin with the warmth of your body heat
Step six: set with a light brush through of brow gel to get all day wear!
Remember brows are sisters not twins ;) Tag me on instagram to show me your brow game!! @ellelearyartistry
My amazing client Julie Ann Emery hit the red carpet last night for the #MadMenBall. We wanted to go very classic yet modern. We felt the look needed a little edge. So I first prepped her skin with Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl. I love to use this on the outside points of the face, cheek bones and chin. Then I put Becca Cosmetics Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector in her T Zone. I just wanted to make sure she had a glow but didn't look too dewy. Then I combined Dior Airflash with Jouer Moisture tint for the perfect coverage
Tip: If you want medium to full coverage but only have a full coverage foundation, mix a little tinted moisturizer or regular moisturizer into your foundation to sheer it out!!
For her modern smokey eye I used my finger to rub Jouer long-wearing cream shadow in Night sky from lash line to right above the crease. With a small brush I brushed on Dior cream shadow in Cosmos along the top and bottom lash line for a little more intensity and drama. Highlighted the brown bone with a matte eggshell shadow and a ton of mascara!
Tip: If you want a more lived in look to our shadow use your finger to smudge the cream product into the lid. It isn't as clean as using a brush which will give you that undone-done look!
Other products used:
Cheeks: Chanel cream blush in 61 Destiny and Affinite
Lips: TARTE lip pencil in Exposed and Armani lip gloss in Fastest
